Description
A fogging machine is a specialized device used for pest control, disinfection, and sanitation by converting liquid chemicals into fine mist or fog. This fog spreads easily into hidden and hard-to-reach areas, making it highly effective for controlling mosquitoes, insects, and airborne pathogens.
There are two main types of fogging machines:
- Thermal foggers – Use heat (usually from fuel like petrol or gas) to vaporize chemicals into thick visible fog, ideal for outdoor mosquito control and large areas.
- ULV (cold) foggers – Use air pressure or electric motors to create fine droplets without heat, suitable for indoor disinfection and controlled environments.
Fogging machines come in different sizes, from compact handheld units with 2L tanks for small spaces, to heavy-duty machines with larger tanks (8L+) for commercial and municipal use
